I've worked in low paying jobs before and the short answer to the title question is that these people who shit on minimum wage workers are ineffectual, small dicked (if male), Karens (if female), with no real sense of personal power in their lives so they crap on the poor staff at Target or the coffee shop to make themselves feel mighty.

When I worked in a coffee shop, I remember some of the girls I supervised being in tears after being berated by someone over their coffee order. If it was a man, I'd wave my pinky in the air, the girls laughed and got it.

There's no such thing as perfect job performance in any sector. I was a waitress, a call centre agent, a coffee shop supervisor and a lawyer. Mistakes happen because humans are the ones doing the jobs. Nobody's perfect. Just remember, the next time someone shits on you, it says a lot more about them than it does about you. What kind of sad, pathetic life must they have? Also, how dumb are they...I mean, "don't fuck with the people handling your food" is pretty common sensical now, isn't it?
