Jade, I love your openness and honesty. I have never been a big girl, and now at 50, I doubt I ever will be. You sound like a wonderful, bright, lovely, beautiful person. I have also felt insecure in my own skin, and I'd say be happy with you first. If you're not happy with you, then yes, wait to date, if you are, go for it. You sound like you can weed out the losers. The guy that said "he didn't mind weight on a woman"; yeah, he's an ass. When a man accepts you for you, weight (or in my case stretch marks from 3 kids) won't even be a factor. There are, at least to me, no different standards, people click or they don't and if a guy can't appreciate how wonderful you are.....NEXT!
