Jealousy is, at least in my opinion, is a useless emotion. At least insofar as the whole "sour grapes" type thing. There's nothing wrong with seeing someonee else's success and using it as motivation, but I suppose that's not jealousy.

Sadly, I find on this platform there is some jealousy, but I think it's fed quite a bit by all the "look how many followers I Got in a Week," and "Look How Much Money I Made" stories. Which, first of all, might be total bullshit for all anyone knows and sorry, if a person has to play the humblebrag card, well, ... don't get me started that's an entirely different rant. People read that crap and wonder what's wrong with them. Oh and specifically on more or less followers (because that's the example you use), more followers does not always equal more money. I've read stories by authors with way, way more followers, like 6 times more, than me, where they're talking about hitting some sort of income goal for a month and I had already blew past that amount. Followers are nice, but if they're not actually reading your content, it doesn't really matter much.

Okay, rambling rant over. Long story short, everyone has their own race to run. :)
