I'm speaking from my own experience as a white-looking mixed race woman. hardly smoke and mirrors.

Divisive? That's hilarious seeing as I'm the literal embodiment of the races coming together (maybe you missed that). My bad, I thought the giant picture of me and my parents might have been a small clue.

So, please, do, tell me...what about this do you disagree with? Is it the part that acknowledges that white people do have struggles and my affirming that? Is it there part where I explain that privilege, in this context in no way has anything to do with an easy or affluent life? Is it my brief overview of simple historical realities? Is it my intentional oversimplification of a very complex issue in order to aid understanding and dialogue?

I look forward to your response. No seriously, I do. Please try to make it actually a response (you know, one that asserts at least one point or position) and not a string of buzzwords this time.... I'll wait...
