Nancy Blackman, MASF came up with a weekly prompt this week that was so timely I swear she’s living inside my head. It basically asks if there’s ever been a time in your life when you felt like the waves of the ocean and if so, describe it. Here’s the story containing the prompt:

Writing Prompt: Week 17–23 October

I’ve had two such experiences.

The first one happened exactly 35 years ago to the day. I fell in love with a boy. Well, not really, I’d been in love with him for a year before, but he finally noticed and fell in love with me.

The very sight of him was like a panoramic vista, majestic, stunning, and more beautiful than I could ever imagine or deserve.
