Love this! First off, I may be old fashioned, but I was rasied to think both talking about money and bragging were, well, crass. And the humble brag, "I want to help and ecourage" bullshit makes me want to puke!

That said, what these newbies don't get... And really, I'm kind of a newbie, I've been here 9 or 10 months now. Anyway what they don't get is you can have a fantastic month, maybe 2 or 3. I did. I thought was the literal shit for 2 months, I was earning pretty good coin. Then... not so much. Thank goodness I had to good sense to keep my thoughts to myself because what was driivng the earnings were a couple of viral articles that just seemed to hit the algorithim at the right time.

Algorithims and readers change. And humble pie ain't nearly as tasty as blueberry. I don't even bother when I see the "I amde X amount..." articles. They're a hard NO for me.
