Loved this, Pam. Yes, I spring clean. I also fall clean. All walls are washed, windows done, everything from top to bottom.

But, I'm a clean freak anyway. Honestly, I think it's a manifestation of my anxiety. I can't stand things being out of place. I can't stand crumbs.

Then I got a dog and seriously, with his hair, I've seen myself vacuum 3-4 times a day. I've given up. That and I've gotten to the point where living life is more important than some dog hair, which is never going to be completely eradicated anyway.

Yes, I still clean for company. I can still hear my mother's voice saying things like, "they won't be going back spreading news about MY house." That was an actual thing.
