Thank goodness for Charlie Cole! I’d been feeling a little uninspired lately and found myself struggling to write much of anything. So, I did what I normally do, got the hell away from my laptop, went outside into the world, and did stuff.

Not exciting stuff, just regular stuff, walking thing dog, buying groceries, talking to people. Stuff.

I came home and did some reading. And I stumbled on a fun challenge Charlie created called Inside The Writers’ Studio. It looked like fun, so why not? It’s the first prompt I’ve seen in about a week that had me immediately thinking, “Holy shit, I gotta do this!” Here it is, in case you want to try it too:

1. What is your favorite word?: I hate to admit it, but I’m going to have to go with the “F” word. It’s short, to the point, powerful and incredibly versatile.
