Mr. Obama, I remember the night you were elected. My mother, a Black woman in her 70s at the time, cried tears of joy, never believing she'd live to see the day a Black man was elected President of the United States.
I'm going to be so bold as to shamelessly plug a piece I wrote. I mean no disrespect, but I think we need to get through to common sense Americans before it's too late. I'm Canadian, but what happens south of me drifts north.
We're at a critical juncture where quality of life, health and hope may well be taken away. And no disrespect, but the Dems need to do a better job getting the message out. Forget that guy on the other side...focus on what matters to everyday people, the voters. Inspire them to go to the polls, the way you did.
