Okay, I’m not quite that old, but when Keeley Schroder asked:

What did you first hear music on?

I figured this was close enough. I jest. Sort of.

I probably heard music first on the television and on the 8-track player in my father’s car. The 8-track was sort of the cassette tape’s predecessor. I am that old!

But none of that music was mine. It was either whatever my mother was watching. HeeHaw, probably. Or old-time country tunes.

When I was old enough to start choosing and listening to my own music, I guess about 11 or so, my dad bought me a stereo. It was super cool. It had a record player, a radio, and a double tape deck. I had that stereo for ages! I still remember the 2 albums I bought with it:

Snoopy’s Christmas
