My boys are 32 and next month the other 2 will be 30 and 28 respectively. I get it. Boy do I get it!

I rasied them by myself mostly. I didn't buy so much as a new pair of underwear for 12 years to make sure they had everything they needed and most of what they wanted.

It IS a huge adjustment.

But you know what else it is? It's a big-ass testament to the awesome job you did. The whole point of rasing kids is to make independently functioning humans. You did good!

And don't worry, there will still be times they need Mama Bear and her sage advice. But yeah, it's your turn now. Take that bubble bath, take that vacation, sit and enjoy the quiet...whatever. Reap the rewards of a job well done!
