My first thought was a bit sarcastic, if the bank didn't have a pencil, why would you think they'd have cash, LOL.

Fun story for you and the kids out there. About 6 months ago, our entire Interact system went down. IE: the entire electronic banking system went down for over 24 hours. No payments, aside from...wait for it...CASH could be accepted. No online deposits, transfers, etc. Our entire nation went apeshit. And that was 24 hours or so....a little cash is not a bad thing.

Don't even get me started on the post office employee that didn't know how to mail a parcel....I weep for humanity.
