My heart aches from you. I've been in the same boat with my middle son, with mental health issues and an addiction to alcohol. The constant ups and downs, picking up the pieces, being afraid to celebrate the highs because you know in the back of your mind they won't last....I had to do the same thing as you just did. For me it was about 6 months ago. It was so hard at first, but necessary. Right now, things are quiet, he's unblocked, sober and working...we'll see how it goes.
