Nice. My father used to frequent the last full service station in our town when I was a kid. Well, until gas went up to 45 cents a litre. Even after that, he's stop by for an oil change.
The guy that owned the place was a friend of his. And his son went to school with me. He became a mechanic and my father brought his car to him at teh same self-serve station until he died. Not because of price, but just loyalty and good service.
I'm not a Boomer, I'm smack in the middle of Gen X. I remember the tail end of full service. I wish we had it now.
