No gotcha. I'm genuinely interested. As I said, if someone isn't willing to ask the hard questions and also hear the hard answers, this entire race/privilege thing just goes around in circles.

To my mind, "gotcha types" are intellectually dishonest and insecure in their position. I'm neither.

For the record, you don't strike me as a racist. I don't picture you going around judging people based on their colour or race in your daily life. But you do strike me as someone that has a point of view that I've heard several times and it's one that I think needs addressing if race relations are ever going to be improved.

You had the balls to open the door, here, and good on you for that. I like that you had the courage to say the "quiet part" out loud. Now I need to know where the quiet part came from.
