Oh yeah, Jimmy, well, here's my list: gorgeous man (think young Jimi Jamison or George Michael, well, straight though), lots of loot, intelligent, great sense of humour, and sweet. What do I bring to the table...me. My strengths, I'm me. LOL Okay, sorry, seriously now, you're right, many people are hung up on "the list". Here's the thing, when you meet the right person, the list goes out the window. After my current husband and I broke up in high school (and again 4 years later), I had a list, tall, slim/athletic build, minimum Bachelor's degree as far as education, homeowner, professional...You get the idea. What I ended up with, the same guy as when I was 16, but he was fat, managed to eek out a GED (but is still one of the smartest people I know), living in a shit apartment ... You get the point. The list won't keep you warm at night. It's important to have standard and to know what you like, but seriously, none of us are as great as we'd like to think we are on paper. Great article.
