Okay, I am a woman, and one that married an older man, 11 years older. It didn't work out, but that's not the point here. It is true that women mature faster than men, and we outgrow the image driven high school antics faster than the boys do. That makes older men attractive. However, some of what you say, especially about women being attracted to men who make more money, or to provide stability, is not strictly true, not in the sense you seem to mean it. I made more money than my ex. I don't and many women don't need a man for money (in fact many older and younger men are intimidated by an independent woman). We have stability. What we're looking for is a partner who can meet us as equals. I fear your article, albeit unintentionally, perpetuates the myth of older guy rescues younger, needy female and she'll now be forever grateful. I think at the end of the day, it's more about shared goals and values than age, and sometimes that comes in an older package, sometimes not.
