People need to mind thier business. I raised 3 boys. They're all adults. My middle son was speaking in full sentences at 10 months and spoke very plainly. My oldest babbled forever, but no one knew what he was saying. My youngest didn't really talk until he was 16 or 17 months old. And even then, only a few words.
Why? Well, because first, kids aren't textbooks, they're people, they don't always follow the formula. Two, he was the baby. he didn't need to talk. He had 2 brothers and 2 parents, along with grandparents and an uncle, rushing around to get him anything he wanted or needed at the first slight utterance.
They're 32, 29 and 27 now. They can all talk just fine. They're all college-educated, and now, you can't tell which one talked first.
PS: Another thing you could say: My baby only participates in intelligent conversation. :)
