Sadly, the rioters are pushing a racist narrative, not fighting for anything constructive. It's easy to blame "outsiders," Muslims," Blacks," Immigrants," whatever for all your woes. It's harder to take time to understand corporate greed, economic policy and to get off one's ass and fix their own selves.

I'm mixed, I have a Black father and white mother (with some First Nations and Jewish on the side). The current political climate makes my head hurt.

Oh, and not for nothing, but rioting about immigrants? Really? Really? The British bitching about immigrants? Ummm, I'm Canadian and I don't recall anyone inviting you over here back in the day. I'll check with my Maliseet family, but pretty sure you (meaning the British) immigrated.

Don't get me started on terrorism. Ti my mind terrorism doesn't have a race, religion or colour. If you instill terror in a group of people, well... shoe..fit... Let's talk about the terrorism of white men on women, on Black and Brown people....Please!
