Sometimes the most loving thing you can do for children is not to have one. I have no doubt that if you had a child, you'd love it and do your best to be a kick ass mom, but there's a big difference between really wanting a baby and taking the responsibility seriously with love and duty, if that makes sense. I guess what I'm trying to say is there's a huge difference between, "I'm so glad you're here," and "well, since you're here..."
As I've noted before, I think it's a great sign of strength and selflessness to recognize when one doesn't want a child. I had mine and loved them, but boy and I glad they are out of my damn house!
