Speaking as a woman, I've never done any of these things. Granted I've never had to, or felt I had to. They all boil down to the same thing, playing games.

As for the playing hard to get, I think that one is an old throwback from my mother's day. I remember he telling me nonsense like tell a guy no 3 times when he asks me out. Yeah, whatever, if I want to go, I'll go. If not, I won't, simple.
