Spring’s Whisper

Winter IS Ending, I Can Feel It!

The sun sat high in the mid-morning sky
Turning the snow and ice-capped trees
Into delicate ornaments.
The very best of winter’s beauty
Like many days before it
But somehow different.
A shift,
In its light,
Its warmth,
Imperceptible to most,
The faintest of whispers through frozen air,
That spring is on its way.
