Thank you. I suspect many of us have been through similar things. You're absolutely right! I'd go one step further and say it begins even before adolescence. I would say it begins in childhood and how little girls are socialized, or at least were in my day from day 1. "Be a good girl." "Be quiet." "Don't make a fuss." "What a pretty girl." "Aren't you just the cutest little thing, all the boys'll be chasing you soon." And on and on...
