Thank you. I never considered it being a Welcome Back Kotter rip-off. I remember Kotter, but I was too young to really appreciate it fully. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the "misfit theme" of Kotter, paired with the "Revenge Of The Nerds" type phenomenon of the 80s led to the show's creation. I mean, give the people what they want and all that, right?

The hot pretty girl trope is one that has pissed me off since the beginning of time. Well, at least since the beginning of MY time. The worst thing is we still see it today.
