Thank you for the shout out. I can't argue with a word you've said. As a descendant of slaves who knew nothing of the freedom that white men demanded in 1776 (Paris O'Ree and Sabina Grant), I have a hard time celebrating.

Our true independence will come when we learn to think critically again, for ourselves.
