I've come across a good deal of anti-interracial rhetoric online myself. Some of it here on Medium. I was even called racist once for daring to disagree with the writer of one story.

I'm the product of an interracial relationship from back when these relationships weren't exactly forbidden, but still frowned upon (I was born in 1971). As a result, I think I've heard it all.

My father used to say it this way, "if races weren't supposed to mix, how come the babies are so pretty?" It was sort of a simplistic statement but it was his way of making a point, usually, in those days, to people who held up their Bibles as a basis for their anti-interracial rhetoric.
