Thank you for your well-reasoned response. I can appreciate that it's not easy for men either, I raised 3 boys that are now men. There's unfariness on both sides for sure.
That being said, my piece is a rant addressing my frustrations and experiences with a certain type of fellow and a certain type of behaviour.
Not all men are creepy or dangerous, I know that and I've spoken to many of them in stores, out and about, etc. More often than not, it's about the manner of the approach. Saying hello like a normal person will likely elicit a postive response, lines and invading my personal space won't.
