That's awesome! I'm 52 and never heard the word Gullah until I came across it while doing research for my novel. It's amazing to know there's a whole culture that my ancestors belonged to that I had no idea about!

I'm studying up on the culture and am so glad they're doing what they can to preserve it. I can't get down with the church thing, but that's fine, to me, spirituality is a personal matter and people can believe whatever they want.
