That's the thing, they should have been asked to leave because the costume represents what we all know it represents. It wasn't a private party at a private home. People are free to be racist assholes. I can't fix stupid. But THIS was a dance at a firefighters club. A dance sponsored by a club for PUBLIC SERVANTS. Firefighters serve the entire public, that's the outrage.

And yes, it was the algorithim. I know, but it still pisses me off. The way we progress as a society is by allowing people to speak, allowing unpopular opinions to be voiced. It wasn't all that long ago that abolishing slavery was an unpopular idea. Imagine where I'd be if that wasn't allowed to be expressed? My family and I would still be on that damn rice plantation.
