The 1986 version was and is my husband's favourite movie of all time. He tried to force me to watch it with him a few times. I never did. I don't know what it is, but something about Jeff Goldblum bugs me. It's not his fault, he just feels arrogant or something to me, but I did like him on Law and Order later (I grew up).

I still haven't watched it, but maybe I should.
