A Response To KL Simmons
After spending over an hour standing around in the snow watching Rudy run and play at the dog park, I came home, settled in and got to work.
First up, catching up on my reading. The first story out of the gate that caught my eye was by my girl, KL Simmons. In it she discusses her writing process and journey and asks others to do the same:
Given the fact that I haven’t had much to say on Medium lately, I took the bait.
First up, I have to say I’m not one of those “you have to write every day,” types. The frequency with which I write really doesn’t define me as a writer or not.
I’m a very organized and disciplined person in many areas of my life. I require a tidy environment. I’ve completed multiple degrees and had a successful legal career, all while raising 3 boys. You can’t do that without some amount of discipline.
