The Monopoly example was a metaphor. It was an over-simplistic way to try to explain "privilege" in non-monetary terms. White privilege doesn't mean white people always have more money or an easier life. The key to the Monopoly example was thy player with the shortest hair was set aside due to an arbitrary condition while the others got to build their societies, etc...and when invited to join them at GO....the so-called level playing field wasn't exactly level.
If wealthy people want to pass their wealth down to further generations, that's fine with me. But that's not what we're talking about here.
