The only reason I cared about the chicken is because I'm not really keen on getting Salmonilla from raw chicken juice falling onto my apples (yes, I wash them, but say I forgot once). It's basic food safety. Other than that, I think the cashiers should be bagging our groceries (and doing it properly).
