There it is! Thank you. Being overweight, from what I know is absolutely a contributing factor for several causes of death and chronic disease. However, let's look at things for a second...

Big food, sugar, processed shit, whatever has been marketed to us for at least 60 years. I'm 52 and grew up with it. That crap food, in turn, causes obesity, but don't worry, big pharma has some pills and shit for ya. Once they make you sick, they can "manage" it for you, for a price.

I'm not big. I'll say that. However, I agree about the social justice issue. Big, small, whatever, size should not determine the worth of an individual. Even without crap food, etc., some people are going to be bigger than others. So? And there are ethnic and age differences. I'm a middle aged woman with a Black father and a huge ass for my size.

Obesity in and of itself isn't a disease, but how we treat larger people is and so is how we got here.
