There we go! I was wondering when you'd address this, you know without names. I'll be honest, I read about this guy and I went looking for him because, well, I'm ...yeah, me. I figured, "try it with me, bud, please try it with me!" Dummy took the bait like a starving trout. Bully my friend, you deal with me.

I read one of this person's stories. They won a couple challenge way, way back before the platform got so popular, so I think they think they're something. They're okay. I've read worse. I've read a whole lot better too. I made sure to be complimentary because you, know, lawyer training, always appear to be on the side of right.

My guess is he's not getting reads, he's not getting to the magic 100 here, he's no longer winning challenges and his ego can't handle it. Well, his ego is about to get another hit as more and more people avoid his work.

It's sad because to write well, one must read. And the FB groups are great for that. I can't rell you how much I've grown as a writer and how much I've learned from my fellow writers. When I started out a year ago, I was a decent poet and a pretty okay non-fiction writer, but my fiction sucked ass. It's largely through reading the work of of others on these platforms that I've learned and yeah, it doesn't suck ass anymore. It's not settng the world on fire, but it will someday.

So glad you weighed in and love how yours is way less of a rant than mine. ;)
