There's a tone to your rant that I don't really like, but hey, it's your rant. I'm an older woman, and although I'm actually biracial, I look very white. I'm 50 and all us older gals aren't overweight and falling apart, just sayin'. Don't worry, I'm not hitting on you, LOL.

That being said, I think they hit on you for the same reason that many (but not all) Black men go for white women. There's a pervasive cultural myth out there that white women are somehow more docile and/or more agreeable than Black women (this goes hand in hand with the angry Black woman myth). It's complete bullshit, of course, but I've seen my own family members buy into it.

What you're experiencing is the same thing, but in reverse, the myth that all Black men want a thick, white girl. This goes hand in hand with the infantilizing of the Black male (you know what I mean, the stereotype of the young Black man who can't look after himself, has poor credit, no job or a low level job and therefore needs the thick, older white woman to fix him up. Again, complete and utter bullshit.

My advice, for what it's worth is if you're not interested, a polite no thank you and then keep it moving. There's nothing wrong with having a physical preference, we all do, but there is something wrong with being a dick about it, if that makes sense.
