This is basically the story of my life. I'm mixed race. My dad was Black, my mom was white. I am white-presenting. Although my hair is very curly, it's brown. My eyes are blue and my complexion is very fair, like porcelain.

People say the most outrageous stuff to me or in my vicinity, and exactly for the reason you state, they assume I think like them because I look like them. Then, when I let them know I'm not white, they get angry, accuse me of trapping them or tricking them or some such nonsense.
