This is one of the things about our culture that pisses me off the most. I wrote about it months ago and how as a teenager Head of the Class was my favourite show because it dared to show pretty girls who were smart. The perpetual stereotype of the hot dumb girl, in my opinion is damaging to young girls. At 13, we all want to be hot and popular and we will dumb ourselves down to do it. I did. It's a myth that needs to end and I mean yesterday!
