To control information is to control a population. In failing to teach the truth, to school kids, those like the Texas Governor are ensuring the status quo remains in existence into the next generation and beyond. Sounds almost like that's the plan....

The only reason I learned the truth and Dr. King was because my mother was there. Not physically there (we're Canadian), but she was alive as a young Black woman during the 60s and followed him and his work closely. I certainly wasn't taught a thing about him in school.
