Trust me, it does. It absolutely does. I don't "look Black" either. In fact, I'm so light skinned that I look whiter than white people. D
That doesn't change the fact that my dad was Black.

Someone like me, or Meghan go around, about our lives treated well. We don't experience the overt racism that darker skinned people do. However, and this is what you're missing, when our true ethnic makeup is revealed, things often change. Attitudes toward us change. There's a subtle shift in the air.

Concerns about "what the baby will look like," media comments about the wrong side of the tracks, etc. These are examples of the covert racism people of mixed race suffer. There are so many others.

If you think race has nothing to do with it, I'm sorry, but you are just wrong.
