Under All That Hair
It’s the first thing they see
Looming larger than life,
Wild,
Unruly.
An overpowering mop of curls.
Yesterday,
Today,
Probably tomorrow too.
It captivates,
It fascinates,
It somehow boggles the mind,
As they stare,
Stunned,
Silently wondering
What’s under all that hair?
Anyone that knows me knows my hair is kinda my thing. I mean, I’m essentially a tiny talking stick under a huge head of curly locks. As such, I’d be a fool to pass up a chance to write about it. I was prompted to pen this little poem in response to Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她)’s Hair Physics prompt:
