Well, I truly am sorry that you've received poor treatment based on your appearance, that is NOT okay. And if there are girls doing the things you describe (and I have no doubt there are), that's just disgusting and it makes me wonder where their parents are. However, my piece has nothing to do with looks. Creeps come in all physical forms, big, small, tall, short, attractive and unattractive.

You complain about blanket statements yet say you've been ridiculed by "people like me." That's a blanket statement in and of itself. First you have no idea who people like me are. People "like me" are women that have painful memories of continually being made to feel unsafe by the few creeps that are out there. People like me want to be able to do the routine tasks that everyone else does and do so without not being made to feel unsafe and without being treated like the last piece of sausage on the breakfast table. Those are the causes of my so-called misery. To reduce MY experience to anything appearance based is frankly insulting, but hey, that's what you were going for, so good job!

Of course, other than that, I'm not miserable at all. In fact, I'm a very happy person with 3 wonderful kids and a great husband
