That was just my law-talking brain. I have mad respect for teachers. I actually considered becoming one when I was in high school, but was advised by an elementary school teacher I'd had that I lacked both the temperament and patience. She wasn't wrong. I also contemplated home schooling my kids when they were young. I didn't. I was very frustrated with the broken system, and I applaud parents that can do it, but at the end of the day, I decided to leave it to the professionals and supplement as and when needed.
