Thank you for taking the time to comment with your expertise. I tried to adopt the brother twice as he was dumped twice. He was my first pick initially, but Rudy came running and picked us. Rudy made the right choice. But, my heart broke for his brother, such a gorgeous animal and dumped not once, but twice, like I said. I was thinking with my heart, not my head.

They did play well together. And he has a good home with wonderful people now, but I can see where the problems may have cropped up if I'd taken him. He seems to have trust issues, lacks confidence and is territorial regarding treats, toys, etc. His humans are working hard with him and he's come a long way, but I think you're right. No, I know you are.

It worked out for the best, we got the dog that we were meant to have. And he gets to play with his brother every now and then. And I get to know his brother is safe and loved.
