Why wouldn't I use racial labeling to address a concept like white privilege?
I'm no victim, so don't even bother with that card, it doesn't play well with me. Calling you out for being insulting in no way implies that I'm a victim and typing victimhood does not constitute an argument. One would think someone as intellectual as yourself would know that.
Actually, my lineage is very relevant to this discussion since you were the one who brought up the Scottish and Irish. I simply expanded on your point. Attempting to derail and distract me from my point by calling my lineage irrelevant doesn't work either, but hey bonus points for trying.
As for white vs Black cops, again, I'm only taking your point about prejudices suffered by whites a step further.
Of course, it's not only white officers pulling over Black people. There are always exceptions to everything. I'm not talking in absolutes here. I'm taking a very complex and contentious issue and trying to break it down into something simple and approachable in order to facilitate open, honest, respectful dialogue. Of course, you already know that and are simply ascribing absolutism to my position as an attempt to bolster your argument. Red herrings and paper tigers don't fly here.
The narrative absolutely sticks. It's certainly not the whole story, but it is a piece of it, and it's a starting point toward understanding.
You can continue to attack my ideas and even me with these non-arguments all day long. But I'd rather have an actual intelligent discussion, so why don't you come back when you're up to the challenge? I'll look forward to it.
