Crazy Weather In The Land Of The Maple Leaf
See the picture above? That was my view from the balcony yesterday morning. It had snowed overnight. It snowed off and on all that day. It was freezing! Not surprising for northern Ontario.
I have my snow tires on. I took out my winter clothes. I put the summer clothes away.
More fool me!
And here we are today. Twenty-four hours later. No coat, no hat, not gloves. It’s 16 freakin’ degrees! That’s Celsius, so for my American pals, that’s like, 61. I’m in a t-shirt.
And for the rest of the weekend, it’s going to get progressively warmer. By Sunday, I’ll have my shorts back on.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful for the warm weather, but what the actual hell!
Freezing and snow one day. Sunshine and t-shirts the next. Do you have any idea what that does to a person’s sinuses?
If you don’t think climate change is real, come on up here, spend a week with me. I’ll show it to you. I’m living it. And now, I’m knee-deep in my summer clothing box to dig out some shorts for tomorrow, or maybe I’ll keep the winter coat and hat. I don’t know…
