Wow! I can't even imagine that in this day and age, except I can, if that makes sense. It saddens me that we haven't moved past this. 51 years ago, when I was born to a Black father and a White mother, it was the scandal to end all scandals in the small town they lived in. As far as I'm concerned, I'm living proof that we were absolutely meant to mix, mingle, live and love.

I love the idea of killing them with kindness.
