Yeah, by the time I was about 11 or 12, so around 1980, it became law that a child had to be 12 to be left alone. I can't even imagine leaving a 6 year old alone! I can't imagine leaving some 12 year olds alone!

If 70 pounds is the cut off for car seats, I should have been in one until I was 14, LOL
