Yeah, teachers in the US seem to be paid and treated terribly from what I've read. Here in Canada, teachers are paid pretty well, its not enough as far as I'm concerned, but way better than the US. And yeah there's a teachers' union. But yeah, I remember the work to rule campaign like it was yesterday.
