Yes. Funnily enough, my husband calls me a "chef without papers" because I can cook like a MF. But I'm not a chef, probably could have been, but I'm old now, so, I'll just sit at home and watch Gordon Ramsay yell at people.

That said, the analogy is perfect. It takes time, practice, education (in whatever form that takes, learning is probably a better word), hour and hours and hours of reading. It's not nearly as easy as it looks.

I don't know if I'm there yet, but I've been writing since I could hold a pencil. I'm proficient, but kinda still a sous chef right now, I'm not a line cook, but I'm not the head chef either....Soon though...soon. :)
